I actually just got a new favorite software compressor for dance drums. It's called Compassion from DMGAudio.com. Very versatile, great interface and awesome sound. Check out the demo. Another software compressor I use a lot for drums are the SSL channel from SSL Duende. Very close to the hardware sound that has been the standard for drum compression since the 80's. Thanks Steve.
